In the wake of the Peshawar school attacks, CBSE had issued a circular to all its affiliated schools to have a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) in place as a part of dealing with kidnappings, armed intrusion and hostage situations, dealing with armed explosives and other criminal activities of the kind. While giving training to students and the school staff to face such situations, CBSE also expects the schools to follow few guidelines as part of SOP.
