I want to apply for officer post in Indian Navy.What is the Procedure of Selection of Officers in the Navy?

Recruitment to Indian Navy is carried out on the basis of All India Merit. The number of uniformed personnel recruited/inducted depends on the number of eligible applicants (men and women) who are able to qualify in the written test, Services Selection Board interview and medical examination and their relative position in the Merit. No distinction is made on the basis of gender/religion/caste/creed/region either during recruitment or at any point in time thereafter. The Commission in the Indian Navy is open to young men and women of our country. They have the option to join the Executive, Technical and Education Branches of the Indian Navy.
