Hi all.. i m priya anna stephanose, mba student, new to the forum..
Please help me i m in a big delema..
i did engineering in IT and worked as system engineer for 7 months.. i was soo much intrested in HRM before i joined the course, but now after completing my 1st semester, i got attached to Marketting.
Now, every one is forcing me to take HR considering my scope as a BTech IT, HR, including family. But i am intrested in Marketing n i am class topper in it.
What to do??
Please explain me the scope of Marketing.

Nowadays, everything has its own scope.. the only requirement is you have to excel in your area... so keep aside dilemmas, and go forward wth you decision, everywhere you can win if you are a specialist in your area.
IT marketing is having good scope nowadays and in coming years.. By the way where r u studying ?

I dont know much about the credibility and placement status of your institute....
IT Marketing is having its scope in marketing Softwares and services... They need to market the software (mainly industry specific softwares - not for the use of common man/ SOHO), sometimes they need to market the IT services (like BPO).
Dont worry, there are a lot of ladies work with prestigious IT organizations like Infy, TCS, Wipro, HCL as marketing/ marketing support professionals.
