I am planning to appear for the UGC NET exam for English. I completed my PG in 2005, but have been working in an entirely different field since then. Now when I checked the syllabus for NET English, it looks so vast, and I feel scared. Can anybody suggest me any tips on how to prepare for the NET English exam? It would be of great help if somebody can suggest me how to prepare for paper 1 and the other two papers. Thanks in advance.

take a basic book of reasoning and start prepaing from that
n then prepare for all the sections which are in the syllabus of ugc net exam BOOK Trumen specific series which tell u about what all comes under paper 1

scare is the big hurdle which comes in the path of suceecs so fight with that and start from what u like start preparing with steps..
