my future step

i'm doing final btech.i'm intrested in doing job in intel as a chip designer.but my lecturers told that it is not possible in india i.e.,here there is no fabrication of chip.and told that to get job even though in intel,do ms in abroad on vlsi.so,i'm in dilema to chose that route because i'm economically unable.plz giv me solution or better route to me in another side as i'm an "ECE" student
