IIT JEE 2011 Paper 1 and Paper 2 each will have separate sections in Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics.

IIT JEE syllabus includes the following subjects:-
1) Mathematics Syllabus:-
Algebra, Trignometry, Analytical geometry, Differential calculus, Integral calculus, vectors.
2) Chemistry Syllabus:-
General topics, Gaseous and liquid states, Energetics, Chemical equilibrium, Electochemistry, Chemical kinetics, Solid state, Solutions, Surface chemistry, Nuclear chemistry, Isolation, Preparation and properties of following compounds: Oxides, peroxides, hydroxides, carbonates, bicarbonates, chlorides and sulphates of sodium, potassium, magnesium and calcium, boron, Transition elements, Ores and minerals, Extractive metallurgy, Organic chemistry.
3) Physics Syllabus:-
General topics, Mechanics, Thermal Physics, Electricity and magnetism, Electromagnetic induction, Optics, Wave nature of light, Modern physics.
Syllabus for Aptitude Test in B.Arch. & B.Des.:-
Freehand drawing, Geomatrical drawing, Three dimensional perception, Imagination and aesthetic sensitivity, Architectural awareness.
