Insufficient funds: According to the U.K. Border Agency guidelines, total funds for the first year expenses shall be deposited in the student's personal Bank account
prior to applying the visa. Total funds mean tuition fee plus expenses at the rate of £ 800 per month in London and £ 600 per month outside London. Total funds for the first year expenses will be approximately Rs. 12 to Rs 15 lakhs depending on the tuition fee
and the city. If it is found insufficient visa can be refused.
Fake Documents: The British Deputy High Commission will cross-check the authenticity of supporting documents submitted along with the visa application. If found faked documents then the visa will be cancelled and the candidate cannot apply for another 10 years.
Gap Period: If there is a long gap between the last completed education and now, the candidate have to provide satisfactory explanation about what he/she have been doing during gap period with the help of supporting documents or else it can be refused.
Progression: The visa should be applied for studying for a higher level than the present academic qualification.
Career Change: If you are changing your career line, you have to give satisfactory explanation why you are doing so.
Delay: Visa applications are processed by the British Deputy High Commission as fast as possible. However, it is on the safe side to submit applications minimum six weeks prior to the commencement of classes.
