One can pursue a B.Sc or B.Tech course in food technology or food science at the undergraduate level. At the postgraduate level, one can opt for M.Sc or M.Tech in specialized aspects of food processing.
The B.Tech program in food technology is generally of four years duration in most institutes, while the B.Sc course is of three years. The Masters program in this field is for a period of two years.
