I wish to enter into actuary field. Is there something that should be kept in mind?

This career is ideal for candidates who are self-motivated, goal oriented, have superior math and lyrical skills, and the ability to solve complicated problems. You should have an aptitude for deskwork, as the work is necessarily desk bound and does not involve two much travel and visiting new places.
As the work of an actuary has a lot of mathematics and statistics related application, strong, Bunaencal aptitude is definitely one of the major requirements of the career.
In addition, you are fit to become an actuary if you possess specialized mathematical knowledge of calculus, statistics and probability; a good business sense; knowledge of finance, accounting and economics; and strong computer skills, involving word processors, spreadsheets, statistical analysis programs, database manipulation and programming languages.
