Class X Social Science Syllabus- Changes for 2025 exam

In the SSLC examination to be held in March 2025, some adjustments have been made in the Social Science question paper to reduce the content load and the exam pressure of the students. The structure of the Social Science examination for has been adjusted to reduce the syllabus load and ease exam pressure on students. Here’s a clear breakdown of the revised format:

Exam Format:

  1. Two Sections:
    • Section A (40 Marks):
      • All questions in this section are mandatory.
      • The questions will be based on essential units that students must study in detail.
    • Section B (40 Marks):
      • This section allows students to choose a set number of questions to answer.
      • Questions will cover optional units, providing flexibility for selective learning.
  2. Two Textbooks:
    • The Social Science syllabus is divided into Social Science I and Social Science II, each carrying 40 marks.
    • Both textbooks will follow the Section A and Section B structure.

Key Objectives:

  • Reduced Pressure: Streamlines the syllabus to make it more manageable for students.
  • Flexible Learning: Encourages focused study by allowing students to select questions in Section B.
