The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) came into existence in November 1969. The board mainly works for the development and promotion of school education in the state of Punjab. PSEB undertakes the responsibility of conducting public examination at Middle, Matriculation and Senior Secondary Level. It prescribes the curriculum, courses of studies and text books for school education. Another main responsibility of this wing is to prepare and revise the syllabus regularly and then prepare text books accordingly. In short, this board make all efforts to bring about qualitative improvement in school education.
Punjab Matriculation exams are conducted at state-level in three languages and three core subjects including are Science, Social Science and Mathematics. Every year, approximately 5 lakh students take up 10th school exam.
Punjab 10th Board Exam 2020 Date Sheet
PSEB Mhali, Punjab released the date sheet and timetable for the 10th Board exam 2020. As per the notification, The Punjab board examinations will commence from March 3, 2020 and conclude on April 8, 2020. Visit www.pseb.ac.in for the latest updates of the timetable and to download the date sheet for the practical session of the matriculation examination.
