Field of Study: Science

The Scheme: The research Scientistship is meant for Indian nationals who have been awarded Ph.D. and who with to pursue research in whole time basis by attachment in a University of their choice. It is also aimed at facilitating Indian Scholars abroad who with to return to India and do research work here.

Eligibility: Persons with teaching/research experience with Ph.D. degree and minimum experience of 2 years after Ph.D. degree.

Age: Not exceeding 35 years as on 1st July of the year.

Note: The Research Scientistship is not available to researchers and university teachers in lower pay scale because the award is not intended to be an alternative method of career advancement.

Selection: Based on interview
