Subjects: Plant Pathology/immunology/Agronomy/Plant Breeding/Plant Physiology/Chemistry/Plant Molecular Biology.

Eligibility: Ph.D. in relevant fields with a good academic record.

Age: Minimum 35 years.

Duration: Two years, extendable up to five years.

Value: Candidates can be placed at any one of the slabs depending upon their qualification and experience. Rs. 2800-100-3300, Rs.3300-100-3800, Rs. 3750-125-4375, Rs. 4325-125-4700-150-5000.

Senior Research Fellows

Subjects: Plant Physiology/Essential Oils/Floriculture/Applied Botany/ Photochemistry and Soil Science/Agronomy/Microbiology/Plant Breeding/ Plant Tissues Culture and Plant Molecular Biology.

Eligibility: M.Sc. or equivalent with 1st division and at least two years of post M.Sc. research experience.

Age: Minimum 32 years.

Value: Rs.2800/- p.m. for the 1st two years, Rs.3200/- for the third year.

Junior Research Fellows

Eligibility: M.Sc. with minimum 55% marks in the field of Biotechnology/ Organic Chemistry/Botany/Agronomy/Soil Science/Floriculture/Plant Tissue Culture/ Plant Pathology or M.Sc. in Agriculture Botany/Life Science. Candidates should have cleared or must clear within one year the CSIR-UGC NET examination.

Age: Minimum 28 years.
