Eligibility: All candidates who apply to the University of Cambridge Board of Graduate Studies naming Christ's as their Cambridge College of first preference are automatically considered as candidates.

Value: Airfares, all fees and a maintenance grant sufficient to cover all reasonable costs for up to three years.

Note: Because of the competition for awards, successful candidates will normally have achieved first class honours (or the equivalent) in their first degree. Up to three College Research Scholarships are offered every year. In addition, a Mountbatten Memorial Scholarship is offered every third year in memory of this former member of Christ's College and with eligibility restricted to candidates who come from Commonwealth countries associated in some way with the career of Lord Mountbatten. These scholarships are offered worldwide. Applicants will be expected also to apply for all other research awards for which they are eligible.
