The Tamil Nadu Board of Higher Secondary Education (TNBHSE) is in authority for conducting the examinations for Class 11th (HSE) in Tamil Nadu every year. The Tamil Nadu Board of Secondary Education(TNSBE) was founded in the year February 1975 and It offers science, commerce and arts streams for 11th class.  The duration of the examinations conducted by the board is 3 hours. The main responsibility of TNBSE board is to regulate all the educational activities related to 11th & 12th class and to cater the ever-changing demands of the education system and also deliver quality education. Thousands of private and government schools of Tamil Nadu state are associated with this board.
