The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) changed the pattern of UGC NET examination from July 2018 examination. You can download the model question papers in the new pattern for all subjects of UGC NET examination from the links given below.
The UGC NET Examination.
UGC NET is conducted to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Eligibility for Assistant Professor only or Junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor Both in Indian universities and colleges. CBSE will conduct NET in 84 subjects.
CBSE will conduct the next National Eligibility Test(NET) on 08th JULY, 2018 (SUNDAY)
Eligibility for applying
Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks in Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognized by UGC can apply for the examination. also he/ she should not be more than 30 years as on 01.07.2018.

Changes in NET Exam Pattern from 2018
From the July 2018 session UGC is changing the pattern of NET examination. The major changes are given below
Reduced the number of papers– From July 2018, there will be only 2 papers for the UGC NET examination instead of 3,
Paper I will have 50 objective questions on Teaching Aptitude and General Aptitude/ GK, each question will be carrying 2 marks. The exam duration will be 1 hour.
Paper II will be the subject oriented paper, it will contain 100 questions carrying 2 marks each. Exam duration will be 2 hours.
Raised the age limit: The upper age limit for JRF has been increased from 28 years to 30 years.
