Faculty of Natural and Environmental Sciences at the University of Southampton is offering a bursary of £3,000 to the international students for its Chemistry Undergraduate programmes. The scholarship will be awarded to qualified students after they firmly accept an offer in year one or year two of any chemistry undergraduate degree. The bursary will be paid in two equal instalments at the end of each teaching semester.
With an aim to provide an extensive in-depth knowledge and understanding of chemistry and related subjects, the School offers a range of degree programmes that include BSc Chemistry, MChem Chemistry, MChem Chemistry with six-month placement, MChem Chemistry with one-year placement, MChem Chemistry with Medicinal Science, MChem Chemistry with Mathematics, BSc/MChem Chemistry with Foundation Year.
The School of Chemistry has been ranked sixth in the UK according to The Times (2012) and is highly rated for student satisfaction by National Student Survey, 2011. The School aims to provide students with a sound background in all aspects of chemistry as part of a rounded scientific education, as well as comprehensive training in practical chemistry and an appreciation of the importance of the discipline in different contexts.
