Eligibility examinations for higher studies abroad

I am doing my +2. For my higher studies I am planning to go abroad. For that I came to know that pass in English Language Test is compulsory.

The ability to read, write, speak and understand English is tested through this examination. Almost all countries insist for a particular score in IELTS for granting admission.
