Procurement—recruitment and selection of work force.

Training and development to all personnel—new and old.

Job analysis and job description— to hire the qualified personnel to the jobs.

Remuneration— determining the wage rates, wage methods and incentive plans.

Personnel Records i.e. maintaining complete bio-data of employees.

Welfare activities and industrial relation—education, recreation, sanitary conditions, settlement
of disputes etc.
