My visa to US was rejected as when the officer asked about Rs. 10 lakh deposit in my bank account, I was not having the receipts. I am planning to appear once again for the interview. How should I prepare myself with regard to my financial aspect?

Supporting documen¬tation may include bank statements, let¬ter of support, property records, etc. if you do not provide sufficient evidence of your ability to pay for the program, you may be refused or may be re¬quired to submit more information be¬fore the visa is approved.

do reapply, but do not apply too immediately. And make sure something has changed this time. Recall your last interview. Find few possible reasons as to why they would have had their suspicions. Be prepared to answer what has changed this time. For example, if they felt your finance (Assets or Source of Income) was not sufficient last time, be prepared to give a different answer. Only then, it makes sense to reapply for US student visa.
