The following are some standardized tests considered mandatory by most of the U.S. institutions/universities and generally form part of their application requirement.
IELTS/ LSAT/ TOEFL/ GRE/ GMAT
You can repeat these tests many times, if needed. Generally scores are announced six weeks after the examination. There are no pre requirements for giving these examinations and no particular sequence in which they need to be completed.

IELTS , or 'International English Language Testing System', is an international standardised test of English language proficiency.
The Law School Admission Test (LSAT) is a half-day, standardized test administered four times each year at designated testing centers throughout the world.
TOEFL - The Test of English as a Foreign Language (or TOEFL, pronounced "toe-full") evaluates the ability of an individual to use and understand English in an academic setting. It sometimes is an admission requirement for non-native English speakers at many English-speaking colleges and universities
