I wish to be an aircraft maintenance engineer. Will it fetch me good pay?

The salary package of AMEs fall in the range of Rsl 5,000—20,000 per month for a newcomer to Rs 50,000-60,000 per month for experienced AMEs at the entry level. The good news is that the salaries of professionals in this field have gone up by 30—60% in the last two to four years. As a result, the salaries of certified AMEs, holding multiple licenses, have risen from Rs 50,000-90,000 per month in 2005 to Rs 1.5—2.5 lakh per month currently.
